Just read your piece in the Mail newspaper which brought me here. What an inspiration you are. I have been thinking about walking from Lands End to John o Groats with my dog Molly and that seems very tame now! I’ve only put about 12 words in my blog so far as I’m still trying to fathom it all out but I’ll follow you on your travels as a massive inspiration for my own small efforts. best wishes Diane
Hey Diane!
Definately walk from Land End to John O Groats! It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and haven’t yet so you can write your blog about it and I can follow your adventure! This walk is so famous around the world! Message me your blog details and if you have any questions about setting it up.

Happy New Year Ishbel. Wishing you many happy and safe miles of travelling for 2016. Enjoying your photos and updates at The Launderette. Stay safe and well xx xx
Hey Mummy McNeil! Just got your message! Wishing you, your family and the laundrette all the best for 2016. What’s your laundrette’s website or facebook page link again? Much love Ishbel xxx
HI Ishbel, lovely to hear from you and thanks for the encouragement. My blog address is dianeschofield.wordpress.com although as I said earlier there isn’t a lot on it yet. I’m trying to get a piece of writing finished for tomorrow so once that’s done and gone I’ll be able to focus more on the blog and then I’ll probably have some questions about it. lol It would be great if you follow me, i’d like that very much. Best wishes Diane x
OMG just visited your blog did you do those paintings yourself? They are really awesome. I’m signed up for your blog to come into my email. The blog looks good though! x
Hi Ishbel, Thanks for following, its not shown up yet on my site but will soon I’m sure. I’ve signed up for yours too although not quite sure how to follow you yet – but I’ll get there. lol
Glad you like my paintings, I’m just adding one or two as I go. Hope all going well for you.

Hi there Ishbel
As far as I know all you do is put your email address in the box and click follow, but hey I’m no expert lol.
My plan is to post weekly so that’s when you should get the alert into your mailbox.
I’ve finally worked out how to follow you, as you aren’t on WordPress I had to copy and paste your url into my WP follow preferences – it worked as I got the first alert this morning. yeah.
best wishes
Ah yeah I put my email into the subscibe box. Yeah word press is far too expensive for what I’m doing. I search arond for the best deals on hosting each year and switch accordingly. Happy writing. Happy reading. xxx
Amazing photos Ishbel, you seem to be having a great time. Was looking at your previous posts especially the one of Lucy’s quarantine and I had a little cry thinking about her and her short but happy life. I miss hearing and seeing your posts about her. I’m sure she is watching over you from Rainbow Bridge. Happy travels and take care. June x
